At Serenity and in keeping with our philosophy we look to combine the old with the new embracing eastern and westerns advancements in treatment and medicine while relying of the ways of a time gone by.

Our environment plays a great part in any treatment plan we develop for each of our clients. We will never throw a blanket over all of our clients and expect them to conform to one model of treating their personal problems nor will we look to impose strict timetables.

We believe that the hands on a clock should never dictate what amount of time should be spent with each client nor do we believe that therapy need be confined to an office or a facility. As part of our commitment to be at the leading edge of recovery we will never turn our backs on new medical breakthroughs seeing conventional medicine as a part of successfully treating some of our clients. Currently an implant for those with severe alcoholic addictions has been showing great promise when combined with counselling and an ongoing treatment plan. This implant while not available here in New Zealand will be administered by our Australian associates.

Part of our program centers around activities. These activities have many different purposes. Building trust and learning to communicate are important parts of any recovery program combined with healing the wounds of the past, learning self love and understanding that this planet we all reside in is a trully wonderous place.
